From the east Texas backwoods, Country Willie Edwards brings songs of days gone by, women, honky tonks, and the unknown. Some call him a recluse, many consider him folk legend.

A farmer by trade who rarely ventures into the city, Country Willie is a man from another time and place. Born on an island in the pines, he grew up leading hymns in front of a small rural baptist congregation and as a teenager toured the east Texas opry circuit with the likes of Kacey Musgraves and Miranda Lambert. Known for epic live sets both solo and featuring rotating band members, he writes and records all his own music. A favorite in Austin, Country Willie Edwards is now garnering attention as a true outsider songwriter around Texas and the south.

With hundreds of original songs to his credit, it has been said that no other artist can write about simpler times, life on other planets, freedom, and salvation in a way that will leave you believing in all of it.
